Behind the Brand: Why I Built Query & Co.
I didn’t build Query & Co. from a place of “having it all figured out.”
I built it from a place of starting over. More than once.
For a long time, I was just someone who had ideas — a lot of them — and the quiet hope that maybe, just maybe, I could turn those ideas into something real. I opened an Etsy shop. I sold digital products. I tried what other people said would work. And for a while, it did.
But then I got stuck.
Not because I wasn’t good enough. Not because I didn’t care. I got stuck because I couldn’t see the next step. Everything felt loud. Complicated. Overwhelming. And every time I made progress, I had to reinvent the wheel to keep going.
Eventually, I paused. Then restarted. Then paused again.
And somewhere in that cycle, I realized I didn’t need more information. I needed clarity. I needed a system. I needed something steady and straightforward to help me move without starting over every time inspiration struck or burnout hit.
That’s where Query & Co. came from.
I created it to be the kind of space I couldn’t find when I needed it most—one that blends structure with creativity, business with flexibility, and strategy with a little bit of grace. I wanted to offer tools that felt light but powerful, products that didn’t take weeks to figure out, and resources that actually made things easier.
Most of all, I wanted to build something that didn’t pretend to be perfect.
This brand is rooted in real life. It’s for people doing business from their kitchen table, their couch, or during the hour they carve out before the rest of the house wakes up. It’s for people who show up imperfectly but still show up.
Query & Co. isn’t just about prompts, planners, or systems—though I love all of those. It’s about creating something sustainable for solo creators and making space for ease, clarity, and joy in the business-building process.
So if you’re here because you’re trying to build something that fits your life, not take over your life, I want you to know you’re not behind. You’re not too late. You’re in exactly the right place.
I’m still figuring things out, too. And I’m glad we get to do it together.
